The Final Update: Back in the U.S.

Updated: Feb 5, 2021

Well, it's been an amazing three years. We were honored to serve the Church in Zagreb and to partner with so many Christians from the U.S., Croatia, and other places around the world.

I won't go into to much detail about the past three years (for that, see our previous blog update), but I wanted to send out a few last details.

The last few days in Zagreb were strange to say the least. We said a lot of goodbyes, but it's our every intent to return to Zagreb (at least in a visit) to see everyone again. The Church in Zagreb sends their love and thanks to everyone who supported us.

We arrived back in the U.S. (to Savannah's parents' home in San Antonio) on the 22nd of January. Oswin was the perfect baby on every flight, sleeping and smiling, with hardly even a single fuss.

We'll remain in the San Antonio area for another week and a half before we travel to Tahlequah, Oklahoma to see my parents, and we'll make a trip to Oklahoma City from there.

We're not certain about our long term plans. We love stories, teaching, learning, working with children, and everything to do with God's people and Word; we'll let those passions guide us as we pray for wisdom.

But for now, we'll stay and work with my parents in Tahlequah while we wait for God to show us what's next.

Thank you all so much for being our support and partners (and since we are now back, if you are a monthly supporter, be sure to double check that your monthly donations.are cancelled). May God bless you, and we hope to see you soon.
