What Did Jesus Have to Say About Cookies?

Hello!
First, let me just say that I should have taken more pictures, but I didn't.
I don't have any pictures from last week's English Club at the church (in my defense, Savannah was gone so I was teaching the whole time), and only a few from this past week's ministries.
I don't take many pictures in general, but when I really get into something, I forget about it all together. But I know all of you benefit greatly from pictures, so I try.
Anyway. Here's a picture. ;)

English Club at the Karažda house continues to go well. Lights are coming on as far as English is concerned, and parents are excited to meet us and ask us why we would do something like this for no money.
We love answering that question.

We spent most of our time outside playing games that the kids designed themselves (as a part of one of our activities), but sadly, I don't have any pictures of that.
English Club at Kušlanova Church of Christ is going well too. They're a more reserved bunch of kids, but we still have fun. I'll have pictures next time, I promise.
After we finished with English club this Saturday, we also met with some of the teens at the church building to bake some cookies.

This was the first step of our more "formal" ministries with the teenagers.
Here's our plan: Savannah and I are going to serve our community and congregation in various ways, and we're going to invite the teens to do it with us. Disciple-making happens along the way.
We started off small with baking cookies.

We made about 100 cookies in all. We put them in plastic bags and attached a Bible verse and the church name and address to them.

Then we walked the neighborhood and offered them to anyone who wanted them. We had a lot of success with the people that Savannah knows from being around the dog park all the time, and also not as much success with more random people. The idea is pretty small, a little awkward, and maybe a little laughable. What good are cookies and a bible verse going to do?
Well, I'm not sure.
But I do know what Jesus said about cookies, and that's what I told the teens.
Jesus said that if we had faith the size of a mustard seed, we could move mountains.
And that's what those cookies are to us--a small act of faith towards a God who uses the small things of the world to bring about the greatest changes.
