What's happening in Croatia? Summer camp reunions, family devotionals, and more.

In August, there is a mass exodus from the city of Zagreb to the coast and the sea. In September, there is an air of denial; summer can't really be over yet, can it? In October, the city goes back to business as usual, and our Fall ministries have started up again as well. One of our main goals remains to bring teenagers together in a Christ-centered unity. We've been having a small group of teens to our house a couple times a month for games, food, and Bible study, and there was also one big Teen Camp reunion event to the west of the city.

We held another sort of reunion event for our Champs Camp kids as well.

There were games, food, crafts, a film and lesson about the story of Noah, and a guest appearance from a robot named Gizmo.

The best parts for us were seeing these kids that we love, and talking with parents as they walked in on their kids making rockets out of paper plates and balloons.
Kids English Club has also started again with an older and younger group.

Some of the younger kids even came to our Champs Camp reunion, and had a great time there, which was a big encouragement.
One of the new things we've started is providing weekly Bible study/activity material specifically for the families with children in the church. Every week, Savannah puts together an activity sheet with Bible verses, family discussion questions, and group activities as a tool for families to study the Bible together so that they don't need to take a lot of extra time to plan everything themselves. She also puts a gift for the kids in each family's basket that ties into the devotional.

It's been almost two years here in Croatia, and we're so thankful to all of you who pray for us and support us. Please continue to pray for us, for God's work here, and for God's blessing as we continue fundraising for our 3rd year. We're looking forward to next Spring when we'll get to come back to the States and visit you all again! Peace.
The connections you're making, and the exposure to Christ comes at a critical time in those young lives! So proud of you both and thankful for your service to our Lord - you are in our prayers daily!
